The range of heat/ultrasonic inserts is available in various knurling such as straight, hexagonal or cross, diamond knurling, or any other as per design criteria. The heat/ultrasonic insert for tapered holes is installed using high-frequency vibrations that generate frictional heat at the metal-to-plastic interface. Ultrasonic insert installations provide better torsional and pull-out properties than cold press-fit methods.
